Gary Strahle

Gary Strahle rode his first wave on the inside peak of Cardiff Reef, in 1991. Almost 20 years later he is still loyal to his home break. At the age of 18 Gary began learning to shape surfboards under the mentorship of Bill Shrosbree. From that point on you could find Gary up on “The Hill,” learning and experimenting, where he spent many hours as Bill apprentice. Today his designs are focused and aimed toward the highest levels of surfing.
